The Best Way to Educate a German Shepherd

The training of a German shepherd first needs to reflect for a moment what your dog needs and what it needs. Too many people mistakenly treat their dog almost as if it were a human and expect similar reactions. But no matter how attentive and intelligent your pet may be, you always have to remember that it is a dog, an animal, with your own needs. As such your dog wants to be part of the pack, it requires its own territory, and wants to be accepted.

If you want to adjust any behavior of your German shepherd that you consider negative, the best way to do this is to approach your dog, not to scold or shout , but to change the way you express your genetic instincts.
There are some basic points that every German Shepherd owner should consider when training their dog. Many of those rules make training much easier.

1. Speak in a quiet tone with your dog to make him feel at ease.
Although a German shepherd can often seem quite intelligent, in the end all desired changes in behavior go against the natural instinct of the dog, and so the process will require repetition and patience.
If your dog is afraid of you, he will surely not obey your orders. If you want your pet to learn, you first need to trust you. But before that is you must learn to be a good owner, for example, not over-reacting to your dog's behavior problems . So you should also teach your little friend how to communicate better. Sure, this could cost you some time and money, but it's definitely worth it.
Many behavior problems arise out of sheer boredom , so it is crucial that you give your pet a variety of activities. A boring German shepherd will surely try to get your attention. So you do not get bored, plan long walks, play with him in the park and involve in the way you think fit your puppy in active play. If you have a park near your house, no doubt, your pet will love to run there freely and interact with other dogs.

2. Training as a game can be very attractive.
Teaching your pet, for example, catching a frisbee can lead to hours of crazy fun for both of you. If you have to transport your dog in your car, place your kennel in the back. Do not let the dog loose in the car. Your pet has to go safely while driving.

3. Training with tools
For example. if you do not want your dog enter your room, you can train it with an electronic pet training mat which can train it efficiently and you do not need to worry that it will hurt it because the train mat only produce static shocks to train your dog so as to achieve the goal of keeping it away from the area without permission.

4. Have clear knowledge of your dog
German shepherds are not naturally aggressive, and when you meet one, it usually means that he has experienced an unhappy education. In that sense, it is key that you do not hit or shout at your puppy. German shepherds who are abused as young dogs tend to have more aggressive adult behavior.
Puppies are more likely to bite and gnaw at people who see us as their leaders. You must take the role that you have that is to be leader of the pack, you must respect and when you go out of the walk will surely let you go first.
